ClockSpider
|
IntroductionClockspider is an entry to the 48-hour competition in November 2007, by Sam Gynn and Alan Hazelden. The theme for this competition was "Time". The game is a platformer set in a 3D environment inside a clock. The platforms are nearly all moving gears and pendulums so you must keep moving to avoid being crushed, or knocked off the edge. The platformer uses the third dimension to add more diversity to the level design, the camera will rotate to face the current plane the player is in, although the action is mainly in only two dimensions.
DevelopmentClockspider was written in c++ using the Warwick Game Design Library. The game is still work in progress so there are a few bugs and the current level is not yet complete. |
