Elections
Society Elections will be on Monday of week 9. If you want to run for anything, send us an email at exec@warwickgamedesign.co.uk, send one of us exec a message on the forums or talk to one of us in person.The positions are:
- President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Equal Ops
- Webmaster
- Publicity
- Events Officer
Working on the exec is a great experience, looks great on a CV and gives you a big say in how the society is run. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of us :)
Game Maker Competition
We are running a competition to use Game Maker to create a game in a week. Game Maker is an easy-to-use program for creating video games, so whether or not you have any programming experience you will be able to make something cool.The competition will be running from Monday at the beginning of week 7 to Sunday at the end of week 7.
48hr Competition
This term's 48 hour competition was this weekend, and was great fun for all invovled. We had four teams making four different games, inspired by the theme of "Transport". Prizes are supplied by Vivendi Games, The Game Creators and Introversion Software, and the judges will be giving us their verdicts in the near future.The games can be downloaded from here
