End of Term Meal

Hey all!

On Friday 19th March (that's Friday of this week, folks!) we are going to Wing Wah to celebrate the end of term. Please come along - it's all you can eat, so there's no reason not to!

We'll be meeting there at 8pm. If you want to come along, please put your name down on the forums http://www.warwickgamedesign.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1741 or send us an email at exec@warwickgamedesign.co.uk, so we can book the table tomorrow evening.

Alan Hazelden is giving a talk... wait... TWO talks!

Wow, you're in luck people! You may remember Alan's talk on making 48 hour games back in Term 1. Or you may not. You may remember seeing his awesome physics simulation he completed as his final year project. Or you may not. Or maybe he made your 48 hour game work at one point in time. Then again, maybe not.

Perhaps you just want the novelty of seeing what Phil will look like in three years' time.

Either way, Game Design veteran Alan Hazelden is here on Thursday 19th March to give two talks.

At 9am he'll be giving a talk about his physics simulation and final year project as part of the CS324 Computer Graphics module. You don't need to be taking the module to come along though. It's in room CS104 (first floor of Computer Science).

At 6pm (our usual meeting/social time) he'll be giving a talk on Why you're not making enough games! Which is true. I'm not making enough, and I apologise profusely.

As usual, this'll be in S0.28, Social Studies

See you there!!

All the best

Ali
