IntroductionPineapple is an entry to the 48-hour competition in Feburary 2008, by Sam Gynn, Alan Hazelden and James Riley. The theme for this competition was "Transport". GameplayAdd your name to the box at the bottom of the highscores and select a level to play! The objective of the game is to "transport" the pineapples to the and of the level by bouncing them off a bone paddle. You must avoid the obstaces such as poison blocks and fire or you will lose the pineapple. You get a better score if you get a pineapple to the exit quickly, and you lose points for each pineapple that is lost on the way. The game ends when there are no pineapples left to get to the exit. EditorThe game also includes a level editor, availiable by pressing 'e' when playing a level. The editor is not complete, but you can still create some awesome levels with it. DevelopmentPineapple was written in c++ using the Warwick Game Design Library and Alan Hazelden's third year project was used as the base of the physics engine.. |
